Terms of Service

1. Your account

• You must pass age assurance appropriate to your region before adult features unlock.
• One person per account; keep credentials private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Usernames may be changed; previously used names enter a quarantine period before reuse.

2. Your content, your ownership

You own what you create (capsules, posts, voice notes). You grant EchoDrop a worldwide license to host, display and distribute it within the service. The honest-feed system may surface community signals (resonances/doubts) attached to your content.

3. Honest feed & accountability

• Posts accrue resonances and doubts from other members.
• When doubts cross defined thresholds, the post enters accountability review and may lose distribution.
• Authors may optionally verify identity claims; reveal requests honor recipient consent.

4. Community rules

• No harassment, hate speech, sexual content involving minors (strictly enforced with automated screening + reporting), spam, scams, or impersonation.
• Reported content is reviewed per our guidelines; enforcement may include strikes, restrictions, suspension, or bans.
• Strikes expire; serious violations skip straight to suspension or ban.

5. Echo Swap & matching

Matching is opt-in. Compatibility scoring uses your moods, interests and community activity — never private message content. You can leave the waiting pool anytime.

6. Termination & changes

You may delete your account anytime. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. If we change these terms materially, we'll notify you in-app and record your consent where required.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties and limit liability to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (typically zero).
