A feed with a conscience
Elsewhere, algorithms reward whatever sparks the loudest reaction. Every EchoDrop post collects two signals: resonances (“this is real”) and doubts (“this isn't adding up”).

Trust & safety
What we do about safety
Age check at sign-up
You give your date of birth when you join. Under-16s can't use EchoDrop, and 16 and 17 year olds get teen settings.
Private teen profiles
Teen profiles are private. People have to send a follow request, and the teen decides who gets in.
Report and block
Report a post, a comment, a capsule or a chat from its menu (tap ••• or press and hold), and block anyone who bothers you. Reports go to our moderation queue.
Find Friends is optional
If you turn it on, your contacts' email addresses are hashed on your phone and only the hashes are sent for matching. We don't keep them.
Questions, answered
+Is EchoDrop free?
Yes, free to join and use. No ads, no data selling. Optional premium extras may arrive later; the core network stays free.
+How is this different from Instagram or X?
Feeds sort by mood instead of engagement bait, posts carry honesty signals (resonances and doubts), and matching is vibe-based.
+What happens to my messages?
They are stored on our servers so they can be delivered, and they are not end-to-end encrypted. If a message is reported, our moderators can read it to decide what to do.
+Do you upload my contacts?
Your address book never leaves your phone. If you turn on Find Friends, only hashed email addresses are sent, to find friends who already use EchoDrop, and we don't keep them.
+Is it safe for teens?
EchoDrop is for ages 16 and up. Teen profiles are private, so people need a follow request the teen accepts. No app can promise to be completely safe, so teens can also report and block anyone, and our help page lists who to call.
+Is my Mood Pulse public?
No. Mood Pulse is marked private in the app. It's your own history, not a score other people can see.
